CR Laurence Screen Tight 1838STS Sample Pack

This CRL Screen Tight® Vinyl Screen Frame Sample Pack contains a small cut of both pieces so that you can see how the system works.
The Screen Tight® system is a common sense approach to screening a porch or sun room area. The 1-1/2″ (38 mm) base attaches to existing 2″ x 4″ (50.8 x 102 mm) or 4″ x 4″ (102 x 102 mm) framing with wood screws, roof tacks, or staples.
Pre-punched holes on 8″ (196 mm) centers result in a quick and consistent attachment. Once the base is attached, the screen and spline are rolled into place with a standard screen spline roller. If aluminum screen wire is being used, the SS165 series spline is recommended; for fiberglass wire use SS175 series spline. The excess screen is cut and removed. The cap snaps into the base, completing the installation.
Screen Tight® is durable and weather resistant. It never needs painting, and won’t corrode, rust or rot. Re-screening is fast and easy. Simply pop off the cap and roll in the new screen wire.
Four Easy Installation Steps Shown in the Photo Above

1. Base component is easily cut to fit with CRL PTS89 Trimming Snips.

2. Attach base to existing wooden frame with screws or roofing tacks.

3. Secure screen to base with screen spline by rolling spline into groove.

4. Trim excess screen and snap cap into base.
